Apparently when I hang on to film for ages and don’t do anything to store it well and move it between houses & states a bunch it turns out the film is expired and nothing on it is particularly good but it does have that vibey ✨aesthetic✨ going on so I guess that’s something.
Expired Kodak 400 pushed 1 stop, shot on the Canon EOS 10S I got used from Service Photo and developed by Full Circle. I’m pretty amused that there’s such strong Baltimore connections for the camera + film when I took most of the photos in DC at the Downtown Holiday Market and in the National Portrait Gallery, though the last few are from a backyard wedding I photographed when I wanted to see how I felt about trying film at a wedding.
I shot everything on either aperture or shutter priority. I think the metering did a great job and I’m a little surprised that the exposures held up so well. I’m planning to bring this camera to Sweden (I’m going to Sweden for New Year’s and the start of January!) so we’ll see how many more of my films are expired. Maybe I’ll get wild and pick up new film before I go.
