Ponyhenge, Massachusetts

I love the weird art and random roadside attractions that can be found all over the world. I recently learned that in a field in Lincoln, Massachusetts there’s a place called Ponyhenge. This is…what it sounds like. A ring of children’s ponies with another ring in it, out in a field by the side of the road. There’s no parking, no signage, none of that. There is a worn spot on the grass off the side of the road that indicates people park there a lot (I did), and it is on Google Maps so it’s easy to find. It’s bizarre and delightful and most likely haunted (though are the ponies doing the haunting or is it the ghosts of children who used to play on the ponies?), and made for some strange and fun art on a Wednesday morning. I brought along a few chandelier crystals too, just to get even weirder.

Enjoy!
